Our qualified nursing team provides the full range of clinical support you'd expect in a healthcare setting — delivered at home, with warmth and professionalism.

Wound care & dressings

Clinical wound assessment, dressing changes, and monitoring for healing progress or signs of infection — following your GP or specialist's treatment plan.

Medication management

Medication administration, blister pack preparation, medication reviews, and education for clients and families about safe medication practices.

Chronic disease management

Support for diabetes, heart conditions, COPD, and other chronic conditions — monitoring, education, and coordination with your specialist team.

Catheter & continence nursing

Professional catheter care, management, and replacement by qualified nurses — conducted with dignity and full clinical competence.

Vital signs monitoring

Regular blood pressure, blood glucose, oxygen saturation, and weight monitoring — with clear reporting to your medical team.

Palliative care support

Compassionate end-of-life nursing support, focusing on comfort, pain management, and allowing your loved one to remain at home surrounded by family.

Clinical care, delivered differently

Language-matched clinical care

Explaining a diagnosis or medication in a second language is hard. Our nursing team includes multilingual professionals who communicate clearly in Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu, Tamil, Malay, and English — removing the language barrier from clinical care.

Full GP coordination

We don't operate in isolation. Our nurses work directly with your GP and any specialists involved in your care, sharing updates, flagging concerns, and ensuring clinical decisions are informed by the full picture.

Home, not clinical

Clinical competence with human warmth. Our nurses understand that your home is your sanctuary, not a ward. They bring expertise and leave the clinical coldness at the door.

Frequently asked questions

What qualifications do J.PEER's nurses have?

Our nursing team includes Registered Nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) with current AHPRA registration. All nurses hold relevant clinical qualifications and participate in ongoing professional development. We match clinical expertise to your specific health needs.

Can a nurse visit outside business hours?

Yes. Our nursing support is available seven days a week, including evenings. For clients requiring overnight nursing support, we can arrange appropriate care. Call us to discuss your specific timing requirements.

Does nursing support work with my GP?

Absolutely. We actively coordinate with your GP, specialists, and any other health professionals involved in your care. Our nurses provide regular updates and can attend appointments where appropriate.

Is nursing care covered by Support at Home?

Yes. Nursing and health support services are fundable under the Support at Home program. Depending on your classification level, nursing care may be fully covered by your quarterly budget. We can also provide nursing support privately.

What's the difference between nursing support and personal care?

Personal care covers daily living tasks — bathing, dressing, mobility. Nursing support involves clinical tasks requiring professional health qualifications — wound care, medication administration, catheter management, chronic disease monitoring. Many clients receive both as complementary services.
